Datamann is a complete mailing service bureau for all of your list and data processing needs. We will process your custom and rental lists using state-of-the-art software to your mail house specifications. We will code and/or sort your list by Carrier Route, standardize the names and addresses, and correct the zip codes. Merge / Purge, Mailstream, ZIP+4, and a variety of other processes can be performed to provide you with substantial mail-cost savings. Mailstream reports showing the processing results will accompany Postal Tier-qualified Cheshire or pressure-sensitive labels, or ink-jet tape to your printer or mail house. Datamann is CASS-certified by the U.S. Postal Service, using PAVE-certified software. Datamann can also maintain your Customer List and provide List Rental Fulfillment with a guaranteed 1-2 business day turnaround.
Merge Purge (Duplicate Elimination): Datamann will combine your rented lists and house names and eliminate any duplicates between them. If you have a list you want partially or completely suppressed, we will run it against your names and drop any appropriate matches. We can match by household (same surname and address), by individual (same first and last name and address), or by residence (same address, disregarding name). We can also match to the "tightness" or "looseness" you require.
Multi-Channel MatchBack: Datamann has developed a multi-channel MatchBack process that sets the standard for response identification and allocation. As businesses experience a significant increase in the percentage of orders being placed via the web, it becomes even more important to make sure you are allocating orders to the correct mailing segment. Contact Database: Datamann builds and maintains contact databases to help our customers develop a profitable contact strategy. The database is designed to determine the optimal number of times a prospect should be promoted to generate a sale, as well as the maximum number of times to promote a prospect before assuming that a sale will not occur. Customer specific variables such as, average dollar amount, dollar per book and lifetime value can be included for analysis purposes. The database interfaces with report writing tools, in addition to a Datamann Standard Report Package.
Marketing SQL Database: Datamann designs, builds and maintains SQL databases sourced from customer data, prospect data, or a combination of both. The data is structured in multi-dimensions and is accessed for counts, queries, data mining, and full campaign management using a suite of tools that are both proprietary and partnership based. The database solutions we manage are designed to meet the specific requirements and budget of the customer.
Datamann's Glossary Mail, List, and Data Processing Services
Barcoded Sack and Pallet Tags: Datamann's tags for sacks of mail are barcoded to the USPS specification. Our pallet and sack tags meet all the color and text requirements outlined in the USPS Domestic Mail Manual.
BMC Drop Ship Processing: Datamann can segment your file into BMCASF batches to qualify for significant drop ship per piece discounts.
Carrier Route Coding: Datamann's USPS CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) Certified software can assign carrier route codes to your names that can be used for significant postal discounts.
Cheshire and Pressure Sensitive Laser Labels: Datamann prints your labels on a Siemens laser printer to assure fast output and unmatched quality.
Convert Outside Names: Datamann will take the lists you rent or buy, however they come in, and convert them into a format you can use. We can handle whatever media they come in on: 9-track tape, zip disk, floppy, 4mm, 8mm, Colorado tape, Travan, etc.
Data Reformatting: If you need to convert a file from DBASE III to ASCII Text, or a delimited file to a spreadsheet, Datamann has the software tools and know-how to get it done for you.
House File Scoring and Segmentation: Datamann will take your house list and break it into mailing segments for you following whatever recency, frequency, spending and product scoring criteria you provide.
Ink Jet Formatting: Whatever the ink jet system you run on, Datamann can create an input for it. VIP III, VIP IV,Videojet, Jetstream II, Domino, Admark, Harris, Donnelley-whatever the system, if we aren't doing it already give us the specifications and we will.
List Rental File Maintenance and Fulfillment: Convert, update and maintain your list rental database and fulfill the rental orders from your list broker.
Mail.dat: Generate the industry standard set of mail.dat files out of each presort run to be used for mailing analysis.
Mailing Name and Address Standardization and Hygiene: Standardize your street address, city and state abbreviations and spellings. We can also gender code your name and standardize your name prefixes and suffixes.
NCOA and DSF: Datamann can provide you with National Change of Address and Delivery Statistics File (detailed address description and deliverability scoring) processing through third party vendors. We will apply the results of these services to your mail file by applying forwarding addresses and suppressing undeliverable names.
Postal Audit Reports: Datamann provides all the reports the USPS requires to accept a mailing and additional reports that help you analyze the demographic make up of your mail file.
Postal Presorting and Palletization: Datamann will presort your file with PAVE Certified software to get you all the discounts the USPS discounts for which your mail piece qualifies.
Zip+4 Coding: Append USPS CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) Certified plus four codes to your addresses along with the two digit delivery point codes and check digits.
Zip Code Correction: Keep your 5-digit zip codes up to date as post offices split, merge and close. Datamann will match your records against the USPS database to determine the right zip code for the address.
